Our mission at “New Life” Recovery Home is to provide a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment for the individual to grow in their recovery. The goal is for each individual to attain a higher level of recovery. We hope to instill “life skills” that will not only help while living in our recovery home, but will also be of value when re-integrating back into mainstream society. Each individual’s recovery process is a unique and challenging journey, and we at “New Life” are here to assist with that process.
Services provided include case management, individual and family guidance, psycho-educational groups, and assistance with job or career placement. The groups provided are aimed to help with life issues such as: self-esteem, relapse prevention, and the “power of positive thinking” (belief systems). A personal program including 12 Step programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous is required. The disease of addiction affects all areas of one’s life: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. Assistance or guidance will be provided in all areas using a holistic or “whole person” approach.
